Suɔ kake yaa nu nyu.

One elephant is going to drink water.


Okpɔngɔ enyɔ yaa nu nyu.

Two giraffes are going to drink water.


Ngami na etɛ kɛ lohwebi ewie hu yaa nu nyu.

Three buffaloes and four birds are also going to drink water.


Ogbetee enuɔ kɛ ngami kpotoo ekpa ngɛ nyie kɛ yaa nyuɔ he.

Five impalas and six warthogs are walking to the water.


To kpaango ngɛ fo mae keyaa nyu ɔ he.

Seven zebras are running to the water.


Kuɔwi kpaangɔ kɛ lo nɛɛ ngɛ nyu wue ngɛ nu ɔ mi.

Eight frogs and nine fish are swimming in the water.


Jata kake wo gbi. Lɛ hu e ngɛ hlae nɛ enu. Mɛnɔ ngɛ jata gbejee?

One lion roars. He also wants to drink. Who is afraid of the lion?


Suɔ kake ngɛ nyu nue kɛ jata a.

One elephant is drinking water with the lion.
