Qalbi yħiss barce ħàjèt.

My heart feels a lot of things.

Nħiss b’il-farħa waqtilli memmèti taħkìlne ħkèyèt fi’l-ġciye.

I feel happy when my granny tells us stories in the evening.

Nħiss b’iż-żuħk kìf nelġab mġa ṡàħibti.

I feel silly when I play with my friend.

Nħiss b’il-ħuzn waqtilli bàba yqùl illi me ġandùc flùs.

I feel bad when my dad says he does not have money.

Nħiss b’il-ħubb waqtilli ummi tġannaqni.

I feel loved when my mom gives me a hug.
