Fìl wèħid bic yucrub il-me.

One elephant is going to drink water.


Zùz zaràfèt bic yucrbu il-me.

Two giraffes are going to drink water.


Ċlèċe jwèmis w arbġa ġṡàfir bic yucrbu il-me kìf kìf.

Three buffaloes and four birds are also going to drink water.


Xamse ɍzèlèt w sitte ħlèlif mècìn l’il-me.

Five impalas and six warthogs are walking to the water.


Sebġa ħmùr waħciye jèrìn l’il-me.

Seven zebras are running to the water.


Ċmenye jrànèt w tisġa ħùtèt yġùmu fi’l-me.

Eight frogs and nine fish are swimming in the water.


Ṡìd wèħid yizhir. Huwwe zède yħibb yucrub. Ckùn yxàf min iṡ-ṡid?

One lion roars. He also wants to drink. Who is afraid of the lion?


Fìl wèħid qàġid yucrub mġa’ṡ-ṡìd.

One elephant is drinking water with the lion.
