I peel the potatoes.


Ame kutetaura likove.

I chop a cabbage.


Ame kutetaura kamudesha.

I grate the carrots.


Ame kukusha makunde.

I wash the beans.


Ame kutetaura lilyangwa.

I cut the butternut.


Ame kutetaura sipinatji.

I chop the spinach.


Vanane kutetaura nyanga.

My mom chops the onions.


Nyanga kundenkita ni lire ntjeshi vana ditetaura.

Onions make me cry when they are chopped.
