I peel the potatoes.

I chop a cabbage.

I grate the carrots.

Πλένω τα φασόλια.

I wash the beans.

Κόβω το κολοκύθι.

I cut the butternut.

Κόβω το σπανάκι.

I chop the spinach.

Η μητέρα μου κόβει τα κρεμμύδια.

My mom chops the onions.
