Shwuɔ kome yaanu nu.

One elephant is going to drink water.


Jirafii enyɔ yaanu nu.

Two giraffes are going to drink water.


Jwɛiaŋ tsinai etɛ kɛ loofɔji ejwɛ hu yaanu nu.

Three buffaloes and four birds are also going to drink water.


Adowai enumɔ kɛ jwɛiaŋ kplotoi ekpaa miinyiɛ kɛmiiya nu lɛ naa.

Five impalas and six warthogs are walking to the water.


Zibrai kpawo hiɛ foi kɛmiiya nu lɛ naa.

Seven zebras are running to the water.


Kɔkɔdenei kpaanyɔ kɛ loi nɛɛhu miisere yɛ nu lɛ mli.

Eight frogs and nine fish are swimming in the water.


Jata kome bo waa. Lɛ hu eetao ni enu nu. Namɔ sheɔ jata lɛ gbeyei?

One lion roars. He also wants to drink. Who is afraid of the lion?
