Jobote koŋnule e naa yɔ nɛ ku ya nuu nchu.

One elephant is going to drink water.


Ajirafu anyɔ e naa yɔ nɛ a ya nuu nchu.

Two giraffes are going to drink water.


Kupuntona asa nɛ mbuibi ana bee yɔ nɛ a ya nuu nchu.

Three buffaloes and four birds are also going to drink water.


Achɔŋ anu nɛ aligbi she bee nite ayɔ nchu na sɛ.

Five impalas and six warthogs are walking to the water.


A zebra ashunu bee shile a yɔ nchu na a sɛ.

Seven zebras are running to the water.


A tangbaga aburwa nɛ a kɔrtɔ akpanɔ bee laŋ nchu na to.

Eight frogs and nine fish are swimming in the water.


Buluŋ keŋwule ponte. Ku maalɛ gba bee sha nchu na nɛ ku nu. Wanɛ e naa ŋana buluŋ?

One lion roars. He also wants to drink. Who is afraid of the lion?
