Mwen santi anpil bagay nan kè mwen.

My heart feels a lot of things.

Mwen santi’m kontan lè grann mwen rakonte nou istwa leswa.

I feel happy when my granny tells us stories in the evening.

Kè mwen leje lè map jwe ak ti zanmi mwen yo.

I feel silly when I play with my friend.

Mwen santi’m pa bon lè papa’m di li pa gen lajan.

I feel bad when my dad says he does not have money.

Mwen santi ke manman mwen renmen’m lè li kenbe’m nan bra li.

I feel loved when my mom gives me a hug.
