I peel the potatoes.


Ami me kondo otjikora.

I chop a cabbage.


Ami me pere ozombaruru.

I grate the carrots.


Ami me koho omakunde.

I wash the beans.


Ami me kondo okambakuna.

I cut the butternut.


Ami me kondo ombowa.

I chop the spinach.


Mama ma kondo ozonyanga.

My mom chops the onions.


Omeva wozonyanga ye ndji ririsa tji maze kondwa.

Onions make me cry when they are chopped.
