Ondjou imwe mai kanwa omeva.

One elephant is going to drink water.


Ozombahe mbari maze kanwa omeva.

Two giraffes are going to drink water.


Ozonyati ndatu nouzera une wina mavi kanwa omeva.

Three buffaloes and four birds are also going to drink water.


Ozongoṱu ndano nozombinda hamboumwe maze i komeva.

Five impalas and six warthogs are walking to the water.


Ozongoro hambombari maze tupuka komeva.

Seven zebras are running to the water.


Ovisume hambondatu nomahundju muvyu mavi tjaara momeva.

Eight frogs and nine fish are swimming in the water.


Ongeyama imwe mai tye ovimboro. Oyo wina mai vanga okunwa. Ouṋe ngu ma tira ongeyama?

One lion roars. He also wants to drink. Who is afraid of the lion?
