やがて兵士たちが戻ってきました。
Then the soldiers came back.
おばあさんはティンギを木の葉の下に隠しました。
Grandmother hid Tingi under the leaves.
一人の兵士がティンギを踏みましたがティンギはじっとしていました。
One of the soldiers put his foot right on him, but he kept quiet.
静かになるとティンギとおばあさんは森から出てきました。
When it was safe, Tingi and his grandmother came out.
二人は音をたてないようそっと家に戻って行きました。
They crept home very quietly.
