I peel the potatoes.

I chop a cabbage.


Ateene karotinak.

I grate the carrots.


Asiite paroyoonik.

I wash the beans.


Mwatya ceko amuute mwatyaap ceeko.

I cut the butternut.


Ateene sukuumanik.

I chop the spinach.


Teene yeyo nyimwani. Mutuŋkurunak.

My mom chops the onions.


Yiyani mutuŋkurunak arir yee amiite ateene.

Onions make me cry when they are chopped.
