Muchima wami umvwa byapusana-pusana.

My heart feels a lot of things.

Ñumvwa kusangalala inge ba nkambo kebetubule tushimi mabanga.

I feel happy when my granny tells us stories in the evening.

Ñumvwa byapusanako inge mbena kukaya nabakwetu.

I feel silly when I play with my friend.

Ñumvwa kutama inge ba taata baamba amba bafwao mali.

I feel bad when my dad says he does not have money.

Inge ba maama bankumbata, ñumvwa amba bantemwa.

I feel loved when my mom gives me a hug.
