Èrɨ vɨ ́lé é’bʉ́ rɨ ̀ ndráa èrɨ nɨ ́ àlíárʉ́ tʉ̀.

His hoe was too short.


Èrɨ vɨ ́lé jótilé rɨ ̀ ndráa èrɨ nɨ ́ èlè tʉ̀.

His doorway was too low.


Èrɨ vɨ ́lé gbóló rɨ ̀ ndráa èlè tʉ̀.

His bed was too short.


Èrɨ mà gárɨ ̀ ndrá àlíá tʉ̀.

His bicycle was too short.


Ágú ndê zò ndráa tʉ̀.

This man was too tall!


Edé ‘ɨ ́mà e’bʉ́ àbé èzʉ́ nɨ.

He made a very long hoe handle.


Edé ‘ɨ ́mà jótilé èzʉ́.

He made very high door frames.


Edé ‘ɨ ́mà kɨ ̀tándà èzʉ́.

He made a very long bed.


Je ‘ɨ ́mà gárɨ ̀ èzʉ́.

He bought a very high bicycle.


Rɨ kómé èzʉ́ ni mà drìá. Rɨ nyaká nyá kà’bèlé èzʉ́ nɨ sɨ ̀.

He sat on a very high chair. He ate with a very long fork.


Kʉ ‘ɨ ́ vɨ ́lé àkú rɨ ̀ rá, mu a’á òce àzɨ ́ àmbú nɨ mà táláá. A’á élɨ ́ èzʉ́.

He left his house and lived in a big forest. He lived for many years.
