Nekunani kwena yene shwile hahulu tala.

Once there was a very hungry crocodile.

Naibatisisa zakuca hanyinyani hanyinyani ka kukuza. Mi cwale…

He searched for food slowly and quietly. And then…

POO!!! Kwena seiswala!

POW!!! The crocodile strikes!

Kuzwa fo aisa utwa tala, mi yatabela.

After that he is no longer hungry, and he is happy.

Kufitela foikatoutwela tala hape.

Until he gets hungry again.
