I chop a cabbage.

I grate the carrots.

I wash the beans.

Nanguvatula lichipa.

I cut the butternut.

Nanguteta mafwo.

I chop the spinach.

Mama mwateta sapola.

My mom chops the onions.

Sapola jeji kungulilisa nge vanajivatula.

Onions make me cry when they are chopped.
