Nason’gan’ga intamba.

I peel the potatoes.


Naketulan’ga kabegi.

I chop a cabbage.


Nason’gan’ga ma kaloti.

I grate the carrots.


Nakosololan’ga makundi.

I wash the beans.


Natetan’ga bata.

I cut the butternut.


Natetan’ga mafu.

I chop the spinach.


Mama yami waketulan’ga onyoni.

My mom chops the onions.


Onyoni yandilisha’nga neyi anayiketuli.

Onions make me cry when they are chopped.
