I peel the potatoes.


Ame kuna kutetaghura makapishi.

I chop a cabbage.


Ame kuna kutjinaghura karote.

I grate the carrots.


Ame kuna kuyogha makunde.

I wash the beans.


Ame kuna kuteta dingadi.

I cut the butternut.


Ame kuna kutetaghura rwidhi rosipinasi.

I chop the spinach.


Nawe kuna kutetaghura mayanga.

My mom chops the onions.


Ame ne kushwagha maruhodhi pa kutetaghura mayanga.

Onions make me cry when they are chopped.
