Ndhovu ghofotji kuna kuyenda gha kanwe meyu.

One elephant is going to drink water.


Mvashe dhiwadi kuna kuyenda dhi kanwe meyu.

Two giraffes are going to drink water.


Nyatji dhinne no yinyunyi yinne nayo karo kuna kuyenda yi kanwe meyu.

Three buffaloes and four birds are also going to drink water.


Mara dhikwoko nongidi kwokofotji kuna kuyenda ku meyu.

Five impalas and six warthogs are walking to the water.


Mbii kwokowadi kuna kutjirera ku meyu.

Seven zebras are running to the water.


Manyudya kwokohatu no thi kwokonne kuna kuyogha mu meyu.

Eight frogs and nine fish are swimming in the water.


Nyime ghofotji kuna kuvuma. Naye kuna kushana gha nwe meyu. Yidye gha yapa nyime?

One lion roars. He also wants to drink. Who is afraid of the lion?
