I peel the potatoes.


Ndi husalaga kabbeji.

I chop a cabbage.


Ndi huŋalagata kaloti.

I grate the carrots.


Noosa ebijanjaalo.

I wash the beans.


Ndi husalasala obubbooni.

I cut the butternut.


Ndi husalaga sukumawiki.

I chop the spinach.


Maama asalasala obutungulu.

My mom chops the onions.


Obutungulu bundisya amasiga ni babusalasala.

Onions make me cry when they are chopped.
