I peel the potatoes.


Ndimaduladula khabici.

I chop a cabbage.


Ndimapala ma kaloti.

I grate the carrots.


Ndimatsuka kayela.

I wash the beans.


Ndimaceka maungu.

I cut the butternut.


Ndimaduladula ndio za sipinachi.

I chop the spinach.


Amai amaduladula anyenzi.

My mom chops the onions.


Anyenzi imanditulutsa misozi ngati yadulidwa dulidwa.

Onions make me cry when they are chopped.
