Tingi lived with his grandmother.


E dey take care of d cow with her.

He used to look after the cows with her.


One day soldiers come.

One day the soldiers came.


Dem come carry the cows go.

They took the cows away.


Tingi and em grandma run come hide.

Tingi and his grandmother ran away and hid.


Dem hide for bush till night come.

They hid in the bush until night.


The soldiers den come back.

Then the soldiers came back.


Grandma come hide Tingi under leaves.

Grandmother hid Tingi under the leaves.


One soldiers carry leg on top am, e no shake at all.

One of the soldiers put his foot right on him, but he kept quiet.


Wen dem don go, Tingi and em grandma come out.

When it was safe, Tingi and his grandmother came out.


Dem creep go house small small.

They crept home very quietly.
