زه کرم کوچنی کوم.

I chop a cabbage.

زه ګازري ټوټه کوم.

I grate the carrots.

زه لوبیا مینځم.

I wash the beans.

زه کدو ټوټه کوم.

I cut the butternut.

زه پالک پرې کوم.

I chop the spinach.

زما مور جانه پیاز ټوټه کوي.

My mom chops the onions.

کله چې پیاز ټوټه شي، زما له سترګو اوښکې بهېږي.

Onions make me cry when they are chopped.
