I peel the potatoes.

زه کرم ټوټه ټوټه کوم.

I chop a cabbage.

زه ګازري میده کوم.

I grate the carrots.

زه لوبیا مینځم.

I wash the beans.

زه بټرنټ (د میوې نوم) میده کوم.

I cut the butternut.

زه پالک میده کوم.

I chop the spinach.

زما مور جانه پیاز میده کوي.

My mom chops the onions.

کله چې پیاز میده شي، زما له سترګواوښکې بهېږي.

Onions make me cry when they are chopped.
