Fire cooks.

Umuriro utanga ubushyuhe.

Fire gives warmth.

Umuriro utanga urumuri.

Fire gives light.

Reba, umuriro!

Look, fire!

Umuriro ni igitangaza (mwiza).

Fire is wonderful.

Ni nuwimbaraga.

And it is powerful.
