I chop a cabbage.


Anyilinyilei eongo ekarot.

I grate the carrots.


Elosi eongo emaroge.

I wash the beans.


Atubutubei eongo ebiringanya.

I cut the butternut.


Atubutubei eongo esukumawiki (ejibiri).

I chop the spinach.


Etubutubei toto emutungulu.

My mom chops the onions.


Eleleete eongo akiyo etubutubio emutugulu.

Onions make me cry when they are chopped.
