Tuu dedoa mo maa vei se ko nyɔ na.

One elephant is going to drink water.


Sigi selei mo maa vei se se nyɔ na.

Two giraffes are going to drink water.


Ga-naane detɔ de zuna bana de mo maa vei se ba nyɔ na.

Three buffaloes and four birds are also going to drink water.


Tɔrro tenu de ga-teira yaredo mo maa vei na bam ne.

Five impalas and six warthogs are walking to the water.


Nambworro terepɛ mo duri te vei na bam ne.

Seven zebras are running to the water.


Mantwaaro nana de ywona nogo mo wora ba pugi na bam wone.

Eight frogs and nine fish are swimming in the water.


Nywoŋo dedoa ŋuura. Ko de lage na mo se ko nyɔ. Wɔ mo kware nywoŋo?

One lion roars. He also wants to drink. Who is afraid of the lion?


Tuu dedoa mo wora ko nyɔ na de nywoŋo kom.

One elephant is drinking water with the lion.
